Flower and Floral Art, Fractal Art Prints, Posters, Art for Licensing:Plants, Flowers, Trees, Leaves & Vines

Fractal art often seems to emulate nature, replete with images evocative of plants, flowers, trees, leaves, and vines. Lush, seductive blossoms and curvilinear meandering vines. Branching tree shapes and delicate, wispy petals. This gallery presents a sampling of these naturalistic themes. To view an image, click on its thumbnail. This abstract fractal has a soft, delicate feel. It resembles a pansy, cornflower, or other flower but evokes a cold, icy feel. Here's a different way to say This red and green fractal flower is unlike any blossom you're likely to see in the real world, but is strongly evocative of the Christmas or holiday season.

Great Red and White North

Christmas Lily

This delicate blue and yellow blossom strongly resembles a day lily, violet, or orchid, but it's entirely the result of mathematical number crunching! Want something a little more subtle than the Canadian flag to celebrate Canada Day? This spiral of brilliant red maple leaves against a swirly black and white background makes a bold statement. This upbeat floral image in red, orange, and yellow has a flower or daisy motif, great warmth, and a slightly asian feel. You may see Manga or Anime motifs here, or even a stylized airplane propeller or two!

Canadjun, Eh?

Bubble Blooms

This fractal resembles a flower or dahlia and features a brilliant starburst of rainbow colors in bright primary hues. This simple repeating floral background was made from our Tawny Blue Lily fractal, in shades of blue, yellow and gold. Tile it for an unusual fabric, textile, or wallpaper design or border. Curls of metallic pink flowers and blue lightning bolts against a soft pink background contrast with the sharp spiky object in the foreground. Even the prettiest flowers have thorns.

Always a Bridesmaid

In this abstract fractal, a golden spoked wheel rests before a mass of spiky green plants resembling rushes or perhaps yucca. A spring palette with a fractured, jagged edginess. These wispy, moss-like strands against a pink and purple background evoke carpets of violets, ladyslippers, cyclamen, and other spring flowers. With green textured leaves and red tendrils, this fractal flower is strangely suggestive of a Christmas cactus or exotic poinsettia.

This colored floral disc or ball has an interesting juxtaposition of rainbow colors that leads the eye inwards. It looks like a mandala at first glance, but on closer examination, you'll find that it's completely asymmetrical! These sprays of vibrant orange and gold maple leaves against a grey rock background are strongly evocative of fall or autumn. A prickly bouquet of tiny pink flower petals and delicate blue ribbons against a teal background.

A Thorny Problem

This isn't really a mandala, but it does have strong radial symmetry, and the delicate blue and cream petal shapes of this fractal kaleidoscope lend it an organic star flower feel. This abstract fractal image, in the fresh green tones of delicate new growth, resembles young ferns or fiddleheads unfurling. A great way to herald spring. This mandala-like fractal daisy has strong radial symmetry and translucent magenta petals around a glowing violet center.

Fractal Daisy

This pale cream flower with a hint of green at its center resembles a chrysanthemum. It sits on a black ground surrounded by a metallic frame and would make an outstanding focal point for a poster. This lovely fractal contains sweeping radial curves strongly suggestive of flower petals, such as lilies or violets. This unusual fractal render resembles a plump green caterpillar, the delicate growth of new ferns, or even a wave cresting. Look closely — it's edged with baby spirals.

Caterpillar

This abstract fractal floral image in vibrant tones of pink and green resembles mature seed pods or flower heads ripe with seeds. What a great way to herald spring! A cluster of brilliant white magnolia blossoms emerges from a dark storm cloud crackling with electricity. Great puzzle possibilities. A study in green. This spring garden is in full bloom, with a dahlia blossom, coiled pea vine, and a fan shaped spray of satiny palm leaves against a marbled background.

Primavera Four

All the colors of the rainbow mingle in this fractal potpourri, which resembles a casual scattering of flower petals, angel wings, or, perhaps, a tissue paper collage. This beautiful unraveling fractal ribbon, in delicate tones of purple, blue, cyan, and magenta, resembles a rose or flower in bloom. Ferns or cedar boughs appear against bark or a wood like maple or mahogany in this abstract fractal with naturalistic motifs.
